Terms of Use — Gold Karat Calculator

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Gold Karat Calculator ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Free and Pro plans

Free: live gold and silver prices, value calculations, and up to two ingots.

Pro: unlimited ingots for mixing karats, the making-charge and discount ruler, saving transactions, and documents and receipt printing.

Prices are shown in US dollars. The App Store or Google Play shows the exact price in your local currency, including any taxes, before you confirm. Existing subscribers may keep the price they originally subscribed at, as shown in their store account.

3. Subscriptions and renewals

3.1 Payment

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. We never receive your card details.

3.2 Free trial

If a free trial is offered, it is available once per eligible account. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and is charged. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.

3.3 Cancelling

• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Gold Karat Calculator.
• Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Gold Karat Calculator.

Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

3.4 Lifetime purchase and restoring

Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase linked to your Apple ID or Google account. You can restore it, or an active subscription, on a new device with the "Restore purchases" option in the App.

3.5 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Google Play.

4. Licence

SamCoApp grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, including for your own shop or trading business. You may not copy, resell, rent, reverse engineer or redistribute the App, or try to bypass its plans or security checks.

5. Prices and calculations

Gold, silver and exchange-rate prices come from third-party market data providers and may be delayed or differ from prices in your local market. Results such as ingot mixing, purity, making charges and totals depend on the values you enter. The App is a calculation tool, not financial or investment advice. Please confirm prices, weights and purity before any sale or purchase.

6. Acceptable use

• Use the App only for lawful purposes.
• Do not overload, scrape or interfere with our price servers.
• Do not use modified or unofficial copies of the App.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its design and content belong to SamCoApp and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. These Terms do not give you any right to use our name or logo.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that prices are always current or that the App will be free of errors or interruptions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, SamCoApp is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or losses from relying on prices or calculations. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it and cancelling any subscription. We may suspend access if the App is misused or these Terms are broken.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and important changes will also be shown in the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the new Terms.

12. App Store and Google Play

If you downloaded the App from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its support.
